We have a wonderful and loving dog that loves us so very much, but does not like other people and animals. He is slow to warm up and Flash Dog Training took their time and gave him the love, respect, and firmness that he needs during his boarding training program as well as in his day training. Our dog is more confident than ever, listens, and follows through on commands. We recommend Flash Dog Training to everyone that has a dog- no matter the age. We will continue to use them for their day training program. Seriously- Flash Dog Training is worth the investment.

I’ve waited about five weeks after our board and train to write this review. There is so much I want to say but will keep it simple. Our dog Asha has so much potential but her pray drive made it scary to have her off leash. After three weeks and daily work with her since returning home she has realized her potential. She’s more grounded, more connected to us, pays better attention and is now 100 percent recall off leash. Our experience with Flash Dog and their work with Asha has changed all our lives for the better. Kudos to her main trainer Rachel and the entire Flash Dog crew. Off leash life is the best life!

Flash Dog Training absolutely changed our lives. My 6 year old pitty, Charlie, was suffering from extreme anxiety and reactivity as a symptom of it. He was fearful of all other dogs and people, and our lives became very unmanageable, limited, and isolated because of it. He was not food-motivated at all, which made training practices incredibly difficult. Taking him on adventures (or anywhere) was just not enjoyable and was stressful for both of us. We moved into a new house last year and for the first 7 months he would howl and cry for hours from separation anxiety and was becoming destructive (accidents, counter surfing, chewing inanimate objects that weren't toys- which is something he had never done before). He went to Flash at this 7 month mark. Before Flash, I was constantly overwhelmed and frustrated with him, and found myself glued to the pet camera while I was away from the house. Training techniques I was obsessively seeking online were not working. It became more than I could handle. This is when we turned to Flash Dog Training. After my consultation with Amanda, I truly believed this was the answer to our challenges. Charlie went in for the 3-Week Board and Train program, which then turned into 6 weeks because of his level of anxiety. The trainers at Flash took their time with him, getting to know his personality, quirks, and triggers. It was so evident that they care deeply. Throughout his stay, when I would go for my training sessions with him, I was blown away at how responsive he was becoming and amazed by all of his improvements along the way. He entered his training program as a nervous wreck, and I was not confident in my ability to manage his behavior. He's been home from training for about 2 months now and I can honestly say, he really did have a nervous system reset at Flash. He listens and responds to commands, calms himself quickly when he does get excited (because he is still a dog, and this happens), can chill at home in his kennel while I'm away at work (I still check the pet camera from time-to-time, only to find him sleeping or daydreaming out the window.) and, best of all, he is a joy to walk and take places. His entire demeanor is more mellow and he is ACTUALLY food-motivated now. The other day on one of our walks, a neighbor pulled up in their car beside us to tell me what a great "heel" Charlie was doing (we have never met this neighbor). That was one of the proudest dog mom moments of my life and I was smiling ear to ear for the rest of our walk. I owe so much to Flash Dog Training for getting me my dog back. All of the skills and training techniques they taught us are things I will continue to implement daily. They have truly changed our lives for the best.
