Our experience with Flash Dog Training was nothing short of outstanding! Our pitty/staffy/shepherd mix Peanut has always been easy to teach commands and tricks to, but she struggled with environmental reactivity and overstimulation. That made it hard to bring her places as it was nearly impossible to get her to listen to us in any sort of new environment. Amanda worked to create a MUCH better foundation with our pup. We are now able to communicate more effectively with her and she has a new set of clear boundaries that has helped her understand that she needs to look to us for guidance. There are so many subtle training nuances that Amanda showed us that we were overlooking and to have that level of expertise to guide us back on track has been a life saver. Peanut now sees that being calm and neutral is the ticket to getting to do fun things and go fun places. We are so thankful to have this gift of communication and can now thoroughly enjoy watching our (not so) little Peanut thrive!

I took my 11 week old puppy in for the 2 week puppy school. I had decided to invest in his training before he developed bad habits. I wanted to give him a start to being a confident and happy dog. He learned more than I can list here! He was socialized, he was crate trained, he went on field trips to local stores, he played and came home sleepy at night. We took a walk downtown today and enjoyed every moment, no jumping on people, no pulling the leash, just a nice connection with us and others; we used the strategies our trainer taught us and were able to carry them over to our outing. I will continue to use Flash for boarding or any future training for my sweet pup. Thanks Ali and the Flash team for helping us get Oakley off to a great start. He loved school!

I can’t recommend Flash enough. The entire process was seamless from the initial drop off, the halfway training session, text updates along the way, and the final pickup. We learned a lot about the new communication tools that we get to use with our dog. (If you have any hesitation about e-collar training, a chat with Ali will help calm any fears you might have. It’s basically just a tens machine and helps us communicate with these tactile sensory learners.) Our girl made huge strides in improving her confidence during her stay and it’s so nice to see those changes translate to our life at home. We got everything we were hoping for out of her time with Flash. We are so grateful to Ali and the team for helping us transform our girl into a confident and wonderful companion. And the best part is that you aren’t on your own once you pick them up! We are looking forward to continuing to work with our pup during the next year of included training classes. Thank you Flash!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing experience with Amanda at Flash Dog! From the very first puppy camp, we saw such positive changes in our puppy’s behavior. Amanda was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable (with our breed), and customized the training to fit our puppy’s needs. Not only did our puppy learn essential skills, but we also gained the confidence to continue reinforcing those behaviors at home. The techniques were humane, effective, and fun for both us and our pup. If you’re looking for professional, friendly, and results-driven training, I can’t recommend Flash Dog enough. We have a young rottweiler who is beyond excite able. This is all fun and games when he was a puppy, but with growing strength and power, he became a lot to deal with. Jaxon got the privilege of spending time at Flash which has changed our home lives more than we had realized it would. Although he is a stubborn dude, we had an awesome trainer name Alli that was an angel. She was able to build a relationship with him and teach both him and our family tools to have a much easier life with him. Since returning home, he knows his place. He is no longer trying to rule the house and throw his weight and strength around. He can go on a walk without pulling which is a huge deal due to his strength. He can now 'place' himself when we have guests. He also has been making better decisions on his own. Without Flash and Alli's help, I wouldnt be able to enjoy him as much as we do now that he can contain himself. He will be back to Flash. Not because he 'needs' to, but when we go out of town, I will know that this staff is highly aware of their clients needs and he will not only be cared for and loved, but provided positive structure when we are gone. I cannot recommend this place enough as I didnt think they could handle my Handsome Devil, but they not only did that, they improved all of my familes and animals daily lives.
