We hired Cheryl for our pup & had very limited progress. She was quick to take $900, but was pretty much a waste of money. We fired her. Our neighbors who did not have a good experience with her either.
Please look elsewhere & save yourself time and money…

Cheryl has been immensely helpful with Rufus. He is a rescue so his history is unknown. He's very smart and a great dog until we would encounter another dog when out for a walk. I dreaded having to take him outside because of the concern we would run into someone else with a dog. He's a large Great Pyrenees mix and is very difficult to hold back. Thanks to Cheryl we now enjoy our walks again. In addition to the basic obedience training, he is now learning new tricks each week and training to be a service dog. Cheryl has a great method for training using positive reinforcement. No electric shock collar or painful discipline. Rufus loves when we train and so do I!

Excellent personal dog trainer! Our puppy really learned alot (and so did we) and he is sooooo much better behaved than before! Her natural gifts are so intuitive that even our cats wanted in on the action! Highly recommend!!

We couldn’t be more pleased with our training experience with Cheryl and FL Five Star training. Our little rescue was very sweet but had been neglected and mistreated and was very reactive with other dogs. We wanted to start off right with him to avoid traumatizing him further. Cheryl’s gentle but effective methods worked perfectly! She trained our dog but also taught us what to do consistently and explained why we were doing it so he wasn’t confused and felt safe with us. In no time, he was following basic commands and his reactivity is almost gone. Cheryl delivered exactly what we needed and what she promised and our puppy was never traumatized. He loved to see Cheryl walk through the door! I highly recommend Florida Five Star training. Definitely FIVE Stars!
