Life changing…that’s the only way to describe Micah’s training. I completed two rounds of 8-week in-home sessions for my 2-year-old rescue Staffy mix, Flynn Rider, who came from a rough past. The improvement has been absolutely incredible. We worked on everything: basic manners, door dashing, leash walking, recall, nail trimming, muzzle training, reactivity, resource guarding…you name it. As a busy college student, I used to feel nervous just walking Flynn around my apartment complex. Now, I can confidently take him out in public whether it’s a park or a crowded Home Depot. Micah’s training is top-notch and tailored specifically to your dog’s needs. Not only does he train your dog, but he takes the time to educate you as well. I truly can’t thank him enough for the dedication and care he put into helping me and Flynn. If you’re looking for dog training, I couldn’t recommend Micah more.

My fiancé and I can’t recommend Micah and Florida Coast Canine enough! When we first got our 4 month old rescue, the first couple of months we were really struggling with communicating effectively with her and getting her under control. She was pulling on the leash, barking at dogs, and couldn’t walk in a straight line outside the house. Inside the house she was bitey and couldn’t settle on her own. We sent Nola to training with Micah and when we got her back, it was a total 180. When Nola came home, Micah taught both my fiancé and I how to communicate with her, use the tools, and translate all the training that they did to our own lifestyle and in our own home. Since our initial training with Micah, he has boarded Nola every time we need to go out of town and can’t bring her along. We trust Micah whole heartedly with our girl and he has even become a friend throughout the process. Not only is he an incredible dog trainer, he is a good person who will take care of your dog like his own!

Micah has been amazing with my dog! With his training she has done a 180! She used to show signs of aggression/possessiveness towards anyone who approached us, but now she is neutral and keeps moving. Her listening skills have improved too! I've also boarded my dog with Micah and I know for sure that she is comfortable, safe, and having a good time. I love getting updates about how she is doing too. Florida Coast Canine has become my go-to place! 10/10 would recommend Micah and Florida Coast Canine to anyone looking for a trainer or boarding!

Micah was absolutely awesome! We did an 8 lesson package for my 2 year old rescue pitbull. My dog had very bad “stranger danger” and became extremely protective over her home. Micah worked with her on easing her anxiety and teaching her many different things such as place, down, heeling on a leash, and even took the time to work with her at parks and home depot in public settings. Micah also listened and focused on what was important to me and was very patient in teaching me how to properly handle her. She is truly a new dog and when you do the “homework” each week you will see an immediate difference! I would highly recommend Micah and Florida Coast Canine.
