Helene is wonderful and she saved my sanity when we brought our new dog home. I said from the start that I needed her to train me on how to train my dog and that’s exactly what she did. She gave me the tools to get Beau to behave and listen. We’ve had him almost two months and he is such a wonderful dog. If you don’t read the rest of the review just know that Helene can truly help! We adopted our dog, Beau, about two months ago from the SPCA. He is a wonderful dog but he’s very high energy and still a puppy so I asked Helene to come help me out. I was pretty much at my wits end when she arrived for our first training session. Beau was constantly looking for attention and acting up when he wasn’t getting it. I was trying to juggle him and my one year son and life was chaotic. Helene was able to give me a couple simple suggestions to get the situation under control, like moving his crate, giving him rest time, the kind of toys that would hold his interest, etc. My in laws had been in town the weekend before and between Sunday when the left, and Thursday when I saw my father in law again, he said Beau was a completely different dog. We had two training sessions following the first to work on basic commands and both went very well. Helene instructed me on when to train Beau and how often as well as giving me suggestions of how to tire Beau out while we are inside. I am so glad that I found Florida Dog Training school of Tampa and Helene!

Helene took our dog into her home for intensive training. She was absolutely amazing and our pup fell in love with her instantly. Prior to training, we strategically conferenced about our needs and desired outcome. We were amazed at the changes in behavior our dog was exhibiting in such a short period of time! Helene took time after training to check in with us and give corrective feedback to help us maintain success. We couldn't be happier! I recommend Helene to anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled dog trainer.
