Florida State K9 Academy

I have a mobility service dog who is about to retire (9 1/2 years old). I acquired a new dog this past February 2021 and apparently forgot how tough having a puppy was! I was exhausted and pretty close to the end of my rope. However, after trying 2 prior trainers, I came across Chris Deliyannis. He was a godsend. Not only did he change the way the dog was being trained (using a stim collar) he also needed to retrain me. Not only does the dog require training but the owner as well and he was extremely patient with me. We are doing great and are continuing with weekly training. I would unequivocally recommend him.

Simply incredible. Can't say enough great things about Chris. Initially contacted him with a hail Mary attempt to calm down and gain control over my nearly 2yr old dog who was overly aggressive towards all people and other dogs. I only had 6 days to turn his behavior around since i was scheduled to take him on a flight with me to NJ and he could not show any signs of aggression and had to be 100% under control. Prior to reaching out to Chris, i couldn't have company over without locking him up in a different room and had to warn off people when out for a walk. It was to the point where he chased down and went to bite the neighbor's 3 year old kid. Chris worked with us continuously within those 6 days, in different locations ans environments to ensure I was able to maintain control even with high intensity distractions. Broke him out of his aggressive behavior, which I learned really stemmed from fear and insecurity within my dog, and 6 days later we flew with no issues at all. Have continued working with Chris at Florida K9 Academy and he's now like a totally different animal. Not only is his behavior completely non aggressive and calm but he's become so much more affectionate. Have been a dog owner most of my life but have never had the bond and relationship I have now with my current dog. No matter what your dog's behavior or situation, I can confidently say that Chris and Florida K9 Academy will be able to help you achieve your desired outcome!
