We are so thankful that we decided to put our Sadie in the Rock Star program at Flying Colors. My husband was about to throw in the towel and wasn’t liking our puppy very much. Since going through the training program, we are ALL so happy together. The structure of the program was just what we needed. The staff are loving and kind with the dogs but also train them to obey well. I was worried the discipline might stifle our pup’s sweet disposition. Just the opposite— she’s even sweeter now that she knows what’s expected of her. The follow-up classes are super helpful and a key part of the training for all of us! We couldn’t recommend Flying Colors more highly and we look forward to continuing our Sadie’s training.

I didn't find the training very helpful. For the puppy class, you watch videos online and then go to the class and have your dog do the tricks in the ring with everyone else and the trainers briefly walk around and interact. When I asked for other suggestions for getting my dog to stop biting I was asked if I watched the videos. I did but the 2 videos on biting weren't helpful. My dog wasn't responding to the techniques. The trainers had no other suggestions. It was also nearly impossible to hear them talk in the ring with dogs barking. They need microphones. I don't know if their one on one training would've been better but I don't recommend the puppy class. My dog already knew how to sit and lie down. I signed up to get help with the play biting and barking and they did not help with that. If you just want to watch videos and go once a week to socialize your dog then the puppy class might be for you.
