Do they accept pit bulls
Yes! We have a pit and he loved it! They were amazing teachers! Totally recommend them! Axel is better for having gone there.

Does the puppy have to be 6 mo old to start training? I have a new puppy , English bulldog, 4just shy of 4mo old . I’ve never had a dog this uncontrollable.
They start formal obedience at 6 months. But also have puppy preschool for under 6 months

I chose Flying Colors based on a referral by my vet and by reading the reviews. I was not mislead. I have trained all but one of my dogs myself. The one I did have trained was by a trainer who trained dogs for movies and AKC shows. I am thrilled to say that Flying Colors delivered excellent training beyond my expectations and comparable to my previous trainer. The initial program at FC allows me to practice each day at home with my dog while she's in training classes. The follow up classes are instrumental in keeping us both on track with the correct procedures. I have a Wheaton Terrier who is smart and stubborn. I had quite a few issues with her nippiness and crazy greetings, as well as her over-excitement with other animals. I am happy to say that we are well on our way to making a cheerful, happy dog that is welcomed wherever we go. I intend to keep on track with the program as FC outlines over the next 6 months. The staff is knowledgeable and patient. They take the time to answer questions and are very informative. The facility is clean and bright. Finally, my dog loves going to class, loves the trainers, so she gives it 5-stars too. I recommend Flying Colors to anyone who would like assistance in training their pet. The results are quick and if I follow their suggestions and program, will be permanent.
