Foley's Dog Training

I have been doing agility training with E at Foley’s Dog Training for two years. E makes it fun for pups and handlers with no pressure. She gives us direction and correction while also allowing us the space to figure it out. There’s no such thing in her class as failing or doing it badly. Her positive and genial attitude make class fun and rewarding. We have learned so much and, while my dog does not need confidence boosting, I do and she helps with that tremendously. Highly recommend!

E. Foley has literally been a life changer for our dog, Ollie.  When we adopted Ollie 4 years ago he had endured neglect and abuse in a terrible hoarding situation.  Ollie was scared of everything and everybody -- he was afraid to cross over thresholds in our house from one room to another, and it could take 15 minutes to get a leash on him or to coax him into the car. We had Ollie for about 3 three years before we thought he was ready to try something like agility class. We feel so fortunate to have landed in E's class. At first, Ollie was afraid of everything and every apparatus was a challenge -- tunnels and the A-frame in particular.  E. was amazing -- she was incredibly patient, making adjustments and always taking such care to make sure Ollie was comfortable and felt safe, and she was always so encouraging.  Even when Ollie was afraid of the equipment, he always seemed to have fun at class, he just took many times longer than the other dogs to learn to go through the tunnel or to string different tasks together fluidly.  It took a little while but something eventually clicked, and Ollie has made incredible strides.  We laugh that it seems like Ollie has had a personality transplant -- he is so much more confident, he seems so proud of himself, and he is so happy in class.  We cannot thank E. enough for all she has done for Ollie and by extension, for our family.  We are also very grateful to our classmates who were so patient and supportive of Ollie as he brought up the rear. We highly recommend E and her classes -- you will be in excellent hands.
