Follow My Lead Dog Training

We signed up for the 2 week board and train for my reactive French Bulldog when she was just about 1 year old. We were beyond impressed with all the progress she made and loved learning the new training techniques. We kept up with her training for the last 2 years and now we have a new puppy who is deaf and plan to sign to him for the same board and train so he learns recall with an r collar for safety due to his hearing trouble.

Our experience Ray has been amazing. As first time dog owners and expecting wife Ray helped tremendously. We started with individual lessons for our 6 month old golden retriever puppy Cider. After that we did the 2 week boarding program. He taught us so much and we had so much improvement with her jumping, leash pulling, recall and more. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants more out of their dog. We love our dog more now

I cannot say enough good things about training with Ray. We worked together when my dog got very stressed and acted aggressively after my son was born. Without Ray's training we would not have felt comfortable having our baby and our dog together in the house. Ray identified certain dominant behaviors and worked on a plan for her (and us humans). We boarded her with Ray for over a month to do intensive training and would 10/10 recommend him to anyone in a similar situation. He gets to know your dog as an individual and designs a plan to address their individual needs. He's not afraid of a challenge and made us (and our dog!) feel safe in our home together. We worked with Follow My Lead for private lessons to help our Lab, Bruce, with a range of issues including leash obedience, resource guarding, advanced commands, jumping, off-leash training, and general behavioral challenges. We can’t recommend Ray highly enough! From the start, Ray was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping dogs and their owners. He took the time to assess Bruce’s specific needs and tailored each session to address his different challenges, and how to instill the behavior at home. He taught us how to build trust and communication with our dog, helping us understand his triggers and how to manage them effectively. Ray was also incredibly supportive, always available for questions and follow-ups, ensuring we could maintain the training at home. Highly recommend, thank you Ray!
