Follow My Lead Dog Training

My Goldendoodle Bailey attended the board and train for 3 weeks with Ray. When I brought him there he was a horror show. Couldn't walk him on the leash, would jump on everyone, wouldn't come when called. It was at the point I didn't think I would be able to keep him, but after just a short time with Ray I could see the difference. The owner also goes to be trained as we are quite often part of the problem. He kept me updated with videos and training sessions while Bailey was there. Ray and Thaloa were very patient with me as i didn't think i could do it. Bailey is certainly not perfect but he is so much more enjoyable to be around and I think he is happier too, not always getting into trouble. I am so thankful for both Ray and Thaloa, you couldn't ask for better trainers anywhere and if you need them they are only a text or phone call away. I even board Bailey when i have to go away because I know the training never stops. They are wonderful and i so appreciate them!

Follow My Lead Dog Training — where to even begin. After bringing home my dog, Winston, he listens and does what he’s supposed to about 90% of the time. This board and train program will transform your dog’s behavior. Will it make your dog absolutely perfect? No, that’s up to you to keep training. Personally, the 10% of the time Winston doesn’t do the right thing is what I need to prove to myself (and to those around me) that he is a dog, and not in fact, a robot in a dog costume. I can take Winston anywhere with me. And by anywhere, I mean anywhere. We’ve even been invited into a non-dog friendly place because of how well behaved he was outside. “Does your dog ever make noise?” “Will he just stay there?” “He’ll really just come back?” “Is he real?” These are just some of the questions I get asked regularly. Is it work to train a dog? yes. Will you have to put in work once your dog gets home? yes. The board and train is not a switch that turns any dog into a perfect dog for life. You, as the owner, will have to follow through. But it’s so worth it. I tell everyone who is struggling with their dog’s behavior about Ray and Follow My Lead. Many people ask me if the training sticks, because they’ve heard anecdotes of people sending their dog to board and trains and then coming back and having their dog revert to their original behavior. I use Winston as proof that yes it does work, and Ray and Thaloa will continue to answer questions and invite you to group trainings long after your dog finishes their program. I moved out of MA, but I wish I could bring Winston to group trainings, because everything I’ve learned has been more than worth every penny. Could not recommend Follow My Lead more.

Ray and Thaloa are patient and worked closely with my GSD Cowboy. I get nothing but compliments on his behavior and manners, he listens to his commands and I love having his ECollar on him as a precaution more than anything. 90% of the time he's is being walked off leash. I appreciate everything they did for Cowboy and I. I let everyone know when asked where he got his training and offer the contract information if needed. Thank you both and I know where to find you if I ever need additional training.

Have known Ray for many years! At least 8! He is a truly dedicated dog lover (and humans of course). My dog Yankee loves to visit and uses Rays services for boarding. His tail starts wagging as soon as we hit Rays street! We also did the 3 week training program when he was a new puppy. My only recommendation is that you need to practice everything you learned from Ray into a daily practice with your dog going forward. Kudos to Ray! Highly recommend!🥰🥰

I signed up for the 5 private lessons with them but haven’t been able to go to many trainings with Ray and that is on me since my work schedule was pretty hectic. Only been there twice but even that short amount of time, my dog has responded so well to his methods and teachings. He knows what he is talking about and definitely gives you guidance to take the next steps on your training journey with your fur pal. Don’t think twice, book them! I can’t wait to get back into training with FML!
