My wife and I just got our 2yr old male Boxer back from a training retreat with Kami. If you know anything about boxers you know they are very high energy dogs with lots of drive. We discussed our routine, issues at home/on walks, and our lifestyle in depth so Kami was aware of all of challenges we were dealing with. I am sooooo happy to say Titus came back home overcoming all of the challenges we addressed. Our walks are confident and calm. His house and door manners are fantastic. He was even able to overcome one of his fears of getting into the truck and now eagerly looks forward to it. If you are searching for someone to help with you and your dog Foothills K9 is the place to go! They teach both ends of the leash. Giving structure to YOU and your dog. During his stay we received daily updates, comments, and videos on the days events and Titus progress. I was at peace knowing Titus safety was at the forefront of his board and train. The experience not only helped Titus with certain mannerisms and learn to obey certain commands, but helped his overall demeanor and how he approaches everything around him now. Our Board and Train experience helped us and Titus be the best we can both be for each other. You can trust in the Foothills K9 team!!

The foothills k9 team is the best!! My sweet Jude had been returned to the shelter twice before I adopted him in the spring, and I knew we needed to get a solid training foundation asap. Jude went for a training retreat with Kaylee in June and returned a completely changed dog! He has MUCH better leash manners now as well as a better understanding of boundaries. Both Kami and Kaylee also taught me how to make his new skills stick, which I think is so vital in the training process. Jude ADORES Kaylee and is so much happier boarding with her versus a kennel when I travel (his excitement over seeing her is the cherry on top of him being totally anxiety free when he gets home). I am so happy Jude and I found Kaylee and Kami!

We cannot recommend Kami and Kaylee enough! Before our dog attended their retreat, we were struggling with constant accidents in the house and he absolutely refused to walk on a leash. We had tried so many things, but nothing seemed to stick. After his time with Kami and Kaylee, the transformation has been incredible. He’s now on a consistent schedule, hasn’t had a single accident since coming home, and walks on a leash with ease. It’s honestly like we have a completely different dog. Not only did they train our dog, but they also gave us the tools and confidence to continue his success at home. You can truly tell how much they care about every dog they work with, and the results speak for themselves. Kami and Kaylee worked absolute wonders, and we will forever be grateful for everything they’ve done for us. If you’re on the fence about training, don’t hesitate. It is one of the best investments we’ve ever made. Thank you both for changing our lives… literally!

We used Foothills k9 for our dog and could not be happier with the results. Kami loves dogs but is disciplined and is an expert trainer. At the same time we felt very comfortable leaving Harper for extended training because we knew she was in a place that loved her and wanted the best. Kami kept in touch daily and we knew exactly what was happening with the training. We had an outstanding experience.
