For a Civilized Dog

This review is long overdue. I would not have survivors 3+ years of crazy doodle energy without the patience, care, and love of the entire For A Civilized Dog team. Danielle worked with Dodger since he was a 10lb pup, transitioning him from a rambunctious, pushy, and REALLY mouthy ball of energy… to a civilized and well behaved 50lb boy. Well, when he’s not in zoomies mode, of course. Doodles will be doodles. 3+ years later, we turn the corner and he still jumps up with excitement, wags his tail ferociously, glues a giant smile on his face, and jumps out the car to greet his favorite people and dog friends. Cary, Jaclyn, and Danielle always welcome him with pets and praise - and we are so grateful. We LOVE our Civilized fam!

I have been boarding my two large mixed breed dogs with For a Civilized Dog for 10 years and they are really fantastic. In addition to offering excellent dog training services, the team truly cares about our pets and go above and beyond to keep them safe and well while we are away. We have one dog that often has health issues and they have been incredible in working with us and with him to make sure he gets the care he needs while we travel. I cannot recommend them enough, your pet will be in very safe, caring hands here.

Extremely pleased with our dog training. We took one semi-trained 5yr old Puggle and an untrained 3yr old Boggle in over summer for weekly training and they are finally obedient and able to come to my office. Cary was great with them and with us. Busy schedules on our side but For a Civilized Dog always worked to accommodate the four of us. Also offer in-kennel training which has been helpful on weeks we've been away. Prompt & professional and produces immediate results.
