Our experience with working with and getting to know PK has truly been incredibly life and mind changing. Her heart, knowledge, skill and teaching method has helped us reframe and refocus our relationship with our 3 year old sheepdog/mix Louie. PK is so generous with her knowledge, which helped us tremendously in understanding the contexts of building trust in our relationship with Louie to keep him safe. It is amazing and so gratifying to use the tools that PK teaches and see how Louie is so happy to learn and do his job. PK is truly the best anyone could ever learn from. I found For Love of Dogs through a Google Search, and based on the description, my husband and I decided that this non-traditional training approach was exactly what what we wanted. PK didn’t disappoint! As a matter of fact, she continually amazed us with her expertise, deep knowledge, and amazingly fast results. Each session provided my husband and I with new insights for helping our dog, Wyatt, to develop good decision making skills and self control that will keep him safe, healthy, and happy. He ADORES her, and we look forward to continue learning beyond our initial 8 lessons.

PK is extremely knowledgeable and experienced It is easy to see her love for animals and passion for dogs. Her training is non traditional compared to current trainings out there which is refreshing as it appears most modern training now constantly distracts the dog with food versus rewarding them for their hard work.There was a large educational part for us as owners which I appreciated as a new dog owner and my husband learned a lot about the thought process behind it, as a previous dog owner. She was very flexible with class times and the class is really a great deal for a 1:1 class and being able to contact her at any time for advice. Kota our rescue puppy is definitely grateful to have a guardian angel like PK to teach us, his owners to advocate for him.

PK is the best trainer around, period. She cares deeply for dogs and wants the best for them as well as their families. I have used her services for three of my dogs. My first dog, a female, started with her two days after we got her. She has been the perfect dog and I attribute this to her training. My other two dogs are just finishing up with her. Both males who had gotten into some scraps. The younger male being the aggressor. She has taught them and I how to manage their relationship and themselves. It has been a complete 180° bringing peace and a healthy environment for the dogs to my household. I honestly don't know what I would have done if not for PK. Her services will blow your mind. It is money and time we spent.

PK's passion for training and her love of dogs shines bright and clear. I love her approach that the safety of the dog is the primary concern,which translates to how to wait, how to approach other dogs, not running through open doors and most importantly, "how to get easy," which means gaining control of themselves in a high exciteability situation. Training maintains a sense of fun and play while stressing the importance of the dog doing their job. I also have to credit PK for helping us understand the importance of diet, which prompted us to switch to a balanced raw diet for our pup. Our rowdy bundle of energy is now a well-behaved joy to share our life with. Thank you PK!
