The staff here were so good with Cooper. The communication could be better, however. I was told Cooper was getting excited at times and was put in the seclusion area to rest. This was understandable to separate his energy but I was told to take a week off and when I tried to reschedule a week later I was blown off. No response to calls or emails. I purposely would bring Cooper here as he’s a rescue and he would be socialized, and under the eyes of a trainer. If there were more issues going on, I wish someone would tell me so I could help him through it. Now I’m left in the dark. I was also told at one point that they might be shutting down altogether. Maybe this is the case but communication is so important with any business.

I’m updating my review to reflect a serious safety concern. I was previously a client when this business also offered daycare and initially had a positive experience. Over time, as staff changed, I began noticing red flags, including increased crate time and handling practices that raised concerns for me as an owner. I want to specifically note an issue involving Hannah, who is currently a trainer here. I met her through this facility and later hired her privately for dog sitting. I later became aware independently that my dog was being transported unsecured in the cargo area of an SUV without my consent. This was not something I would ever have agreed to, and once I became aware of it, I immediately ended all services. I want to be clear that my concern is about safety and informed consent. While the owner has always seemed well-intentioned and accommodating, this experience significantly impacted my trust. I strongly encourage pet parents to ask very detailed questions about handling, supervision, and transportation practices before working with anyone connected to this facility.

Thank goodness for For the Love of Dogs! Our dog absolutely loves day camp, and we love how much attention and activity he gets when he's there. He perks up and his tail starts wagging as soon as he sees the building, even though sometimes he gets his nails clipped and gets a bath here too. We took a leash training class with Casey and it really helped with some of our pup's less desirable walking behaviors. Can't recommend them enough for anything your dog needs.
