I help people fall in love with their dogs again. My approach to dog training provides your dog with confidence and skills, which improves behavior. Training is offered for dog manners and puppy training which includes barking, biting, digging, potty training and much more, as well as training for fearful and reactive dogs. I specialize in positive reinforcement dog training, through private training sessions in your home. You’ll learn to use a unique blend of Clicker Training and how to read your dog's own unique communication style. Your bond with your dog will develop and strengthen quickly with this training technique. The stronger the bond, the more your dog keeps a solid focus. That focus is where the magic happens.

Cheryl is kind, professional, and a hardworking dog magician. She has a gentle approach and provides all the tools needed to continue successful clicker training after your sessions with her. Cheryl is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and can find a creative solution to just about any curve ball your pooch wants to throw her. If you have a furry friend that you need a hand with, look no further!

Cheryl became the canine version of “The Nanny” to my husband and I when we adopted Bear, a one-year-old tripod, Chihuahua mix. We had 10 in home sessions and it did not take long for Bear to attach to Cheryl and respond to clicker/reward- base training. Cheryl and I easily became friends too. Cheryl’s knowledge gave me the confidence and tools I needed to teach Bear not only how to sit and stay, but to deal with the more challenging problems such as barking and answering my call. I can not think of a more positive testament to Cheryl’s training philosophy than the day I had Bear quietly sitting by my side while two strange men moved around the house making a lot of noise cleaning the carpets! Prior to positive reward training Bear would have been uncontrollably. Thanks to Cheryl I have the skills and patience to build a foundation of trust that will last throughout Bear’s life time. Cheryl loves all dogs...you’d think your dog is the only one but I think she works with a lot of dogs. I am convinced she can teach your dog to do ANYTHING!!
