Our philosophy is that no single method fits every dog, which is why we introduce owners to multiple phases of training, always with the goal of building understanding, communication, and trust. As part of our process, our senior trainers will often demonstrate how tools feel by allowing clients to experience them on their hands. This is not about force or discomfort - it’s about transparency and informed consent. Our trainer, Anna Guzman, is especially careful in making sure that every client is comfortable with the tools used and that the conversation remains collaborative. We do our best to accommodate all reservations for daycare and boarding, and we’ve been managing waitlists since 2015 to ensure fairness and consistency as demand has grown. It may help to clarify that our training services are separate from daycare and boarding, though completion of a training program is required before enrolling in daycare or boarding. We don’t recommend pursuing training just for daycare access, as our goal is to make sure each dog receives a strong foundation first. We’ve been serving families for nearly 15 years, and we take pride in having one of the most experienced training teams in the city. That said, if you were unhappy with the results of your training program, we would be happy to discuss options for a refund or credit that reflects your experience. It’s also important to note that you did not complete a program with us. Many clients who do complete the training find the results exceed their expectations and feel the investment was worthwhile.
