Foundation K9 NWI

Prior to working with Jim at Foundation K9 Thanos was unfamiliar with a majority of commands and behaviors. Since working with Jim he has learned so many useful training tools and also gained a ton of socialization. We utilize his skills almost everyday from greeting strangers to going to his “place” when we need to answer the door. Training has greatly improved his overall temperament and has made him a very well rounded dog. We are so grateful and thankful for Jim and his work!

I cannot say enough good about Foundation K9. We dealt primarily with Jim and Alex with training and Sharon kept us on track with our schedule but everyone I dealt with was so kind. I never worried about leaving Hugo in their care and they always sent me updates throughout the day keeping me informed of what was going on. I learned so much and felt they gave me the confidence to be the best I can be for Hugo. I highly recommend Foundation K9 to anyone looking to not only have a well mannered dog but to educate themselves at the same time. They are very professional and the facility is extremely clean

If you are looking for training for your dog, look no further!!! My husband and I struggled to find training for our dogs that gave them the mental stimulation they needed. We adopted both of them from a rescue and slowly figured out that they each had issues they needed help dealing with. Our Malinois mix came to us with awful separation anxiety, didn’t like other dogs, pulled on the leash, wanted to eat all the cars that drove by along with many other issues we needed help fixing. Our shepherd mix also didn’t like other dogs, he was severely scared of bicycles, and wanted to eat our ferrets. Thanks to Jim, we have completely different dogs. We have gotten numerous compliments from friends and family at how much of a difference training has made for them. I’m convinced there isn’t much that the staff here can’t help fix. The dedication he has to each of the dogs he trains is unmatched. (Alex has also worked with our pups and is great!) Every single person we have came in contact here have been amazing. We have continued training with our Mal, and she still sees Foundation K-9 every other week and it’s been almost a year! There is no other place I would tell someone to take their dog. Thank you so much Foundation K-9 for treating our dogs like one of your own. All of you are the best!

I brought my 6 month old German Shepherd Freida to K9 Foundation and it was an excellent experience for both of us. I learned as much as she did. The training center and grounds are well maintained, clean, organized and meticulous. The owners Jim and Sharon are warm and friendly and were very loving to my dog. They know what they’re doing and helped me to learn and understand how to continue to work with my dog. Alex was wonderful and has a kind and easy manner with me and my dog. He taught me so much. They all ‘mean business’, are detail oriented, and get the results you want and expect from your dog. I had lots of questions and they had all the answers. I would highly recommend!
