Love, Love Eric. He not only works with training the dog but the pet parents. We have seen a complete transformation in our AM Staffordshire Terror. Esther was very reactive towards strangers and other dogs. Esther is an awesome dog. She is kind and caring. We are foster parents for children and there was never an issue with foster children, it was social workers, case workers and any adult who came into our home. Esther would bark the whole time any adult was at the house. Esther now obeys every command and not reactive at all. We don't have to leave her out in the back yard when someone is here. Something I could never do before was take Esther out for a walk and now I can. If you need someone to come to your home and work with you and your dog Eric is the guy to call.

We had an amazing experience working with Eric Volbert at Franklin K9 Academy. As first-time pet parents, we were honestly a bit overwhelmed, but Eric made the entire process so much easier and more enjoyable. He is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and flexible with scheduling, which we really appreciated. He took the time to not only train Ollie but also teach us how to properly communicate and work with him. His methods are clear, effective, and tailored to each dog’s needs. We’ve seen such a big improvement in our Ollie’s behavior—basic commands, leash manners, and overall confidence have all improved. It’s clear Eric genuinely cares about the dogs and their owners, and that makes a huge difference. We are very satisfied with our dog training experience and highly recommend Eric to anyone looking for professional, reliable, and results-driven training!

We recently brought home a new boxer puppy. Eric came out before we brought the dog home to look over our setup and review new puppy expectations. After getting our puppy home we learned of several behavior issues that he picked up before joining us. Eric came back out and observed and provided feedback one afternoon. His guidance and redirects have completely changed our puppy experience. Cant recommend Franklin K9 Academy enough. We will continue to see training as our puppy gets older.
