Eric has been awesome guiding our family and helping train our new puppy Birdie. He has been so patient and great to work with, and Birdie since day 1 has loved him and their time together. When he started it was incredible to see how she responded and transformed into a well behaved dog. We needed the training for ourselves too, I felt like I learned so much, and our kids needed to learn how to help with a puppy in the house and it was so great for them to pick up things and help promote good behavior. Highly recommend Eric and couldn’t say enough great things about his skill and knowledge of training, and how much he cares throughout the process. It has been a great experience and I’d do it again in a heart beat with another dog in the future! Thanks Eric!

Eric with Franklin K9 Academy is awesome. We adopted a 10 month old bernadoodle who was abused and neglected; he was so scared of everyone that even the board and train program I contacted had doubts they could help so they recommended Eric. He drove an hour to meet with us, recognized our guy was seriously lacking self confidence and helped us gradually teach him basic commands which enabled him to feel more secure in his surroundings. We spaced out sessions to allow ample time to work on things in between visits, and each time we got together I could see gradual progress. Eric is patient, kind, and maintains a level of personable professionalism that is difficult to find these days. He played a vital role in helping my “dood” evolve into a happy, fun loving, pup. We still have a little ways to go before he is 100% confident, but it is so nice to see how far he has come under Eric’s guidance. I highly recommend Eric for dog training…I hope I don’t need him again, but I wouldn’t think twice to call him if I did.

We brought quite the challenge with a 120 pound European Male Doberman to Eric to help us train some aggression, recall, and impulse control issues. Eric was the perfect fit from our first meeting. Eric absolutely showed up and met not only our needs but all of our dogs needs as well, which was not an easy accomplishment! Dobermans are an amazingly smart breed with strength to go with it. Eric helped us become strong leaders to help our dog enjoy the world with us. We now have better control of our dog in real-world situations and environments. Everything we needed and discussed for our training goal's were worked on and we were given training tools that worked well for our unique situations. Eric is an amazing teacher and person to work with. Our dog “Keeper” loved Eric as well! Would highly recommend him for your training needs.
