We sent our new rescue (2 year old treeing walker coonhound) to Freedom K9 after an in depth phone call. We spoke to what we would like out of the board and train and my wife and I can honestly say our expectations were far exceeded. Before the board and train our dog was so energetic and didn’t know how to decompress that we couldn’t even sit down on the sofa. He was running around and marking everything he could from being all over the place physically and mentally. Upon getting him back he not only understands when it’s time to decompress, but we no longer have to walk him 10 miles a day to try and calm him down. My wife and I would recommend Freedom K9 to anyone who is looking to not only have a trained dog, but understand how to utilize the training. Freedom K9 takes the time to make sure the owners are just as trained as the dogs are in the aspect of knowing how to recognize negative behaviors from your furry friend. The care shown by Lindsey from just an initial phone was so in depth and didn’t feel rushed. Our trainer Tristan took countless time to ask questions and kept constant communication through text and videos during our dogs board and stay. Not once did we feel that our dog wasn’t making progress. We are so grateful to the care and dedication of Tristan, Lindsay, and the team at Freedom K9.
