Front Range K9 Academy NOCO

We are so incredibly pleased with the Core Obedience training we participated in at Front Range K9 Academy! Thanks to Jen, our trainer, we have learned to understand and communicate with our Great Pyrenees/Lab puppy! We are now able to safely take her on walks and enjoy her as her behavior is much better. It has been such a relief to learn how to work with our puppy! Now that we've graduated from Core Obedience, we can't wait for Advanced Obedience! We highly recommend Front Range K9 Academy NOCO!

Our dogs, Bowie (3yo Aussie) and Charlie (~1yo super mutt), just graduated from the core obedience class, and we could not be more thrilled! Having taken previous dogs to training in the past, I can confidently say this is the best dog training format I have ever been through. Front Range immediately set itself apart. Before starting, we were feeling pretty overwhelmed. Managing a high-energy Aussie who constantly pulled on the leash alongside our new rescue addition was a chaotic challenge. Instead of a standard group format where you learn and demonstrate a task (such as sit), their unique "perfect-as-you-go" structure helped us: Private Lessons: 1-on-1 sessions every 10–14 days. Targeted Homework: Focused exercises to master between trainings. I cannot stress how helpful this is since dog training 100% falls on us as owners. Having tools and techniques to walk through in between trainings left us with a blueprint of what to work on and how to do it. Real-Time Problem Solving: Mid-session check-ins and video reviews to troubleshoot issues on the spot. The results speak for themselves. Bowie got the extra help he needed with leash training and engagement especially when we were working on our reliable sit. Charlie completely transformed from a whining, directionless pup with no skills into an absolute rockstar at basic obedience commands. The ultimate proof happened last weekend—we took the dogs on a family vacation to Steamboat Springs and they were so incredibly well-behaved on the trails and out for breakfast! Being able to enjoy a trip like that stress-free is priceless. The curriculum builds systematically each session, giving you a massive toolbox of skills like heel, sit, down, stay, wait, and place. Plus, the included group drop-in classes are perfect for practicing foundations around heavy distractions. Dogs are family, and investing the time to learn the same language is so important.
