My German Shepherd mix rescue dog Banjo recently trained with Full Potential K9 for five weeks. He’s 3.5 years old, weighs 75 pounds, and is very strong and energetic. Walking him had become difficult and stressful for me because he was highly reactive to other dogs and animals and generally pulled me behind him like a water skier on all our walks. Dillon and his training staff were fantastic with Banjo and got him to a place where I can walk him for three miles around my neighborhood every day, and even take him to dog-friendly public places, and not only not worry about what’s going to happen when we see other dogs, but actually enjoy the outing. Dillon also transferred his training techniques to me before I brought Banjo home so I could maintain his training. I highly recommend Full Potential K9 if you have a dog who is walking you or who has other training issues.

It was a big decision - sending 3 dogs for FPK9’s 5–week boot camp - but it proved to be a game-changer. Training one puppy, I was managing - but then came 2 more and we were quickly over our heads. Dillon and his team took the baton while we enjoyed a travel-filled summer. We’ve had our pups back for a few weeks now and we are really finding our rhythm. We now ENJOY our walks. Training doesn’t end at FPK9 - you need to commit to taking the baton back and continue the work they do there - but it’s actually enjoyable and even FUN - and our dogs are happy to “work”, too. Highly recommend!

We are on our fourth dog with Dillon Mitchell and Full Potential K9, and at this point I feel like we should just put him on the family Christmas card. We live in East Boca, just down the street from his facility, and Dillon has now worked his magic on three of our dachshunds, turning stubborn, food-obsessed little hot dogs into genuinely well-behaved companions who listen, walk politely on leash, and actually settle down when asked instead of losing their minds at every doorbell. The real test came at our Palm Beach wedding, where all three of our trained pups walked down the aisle together without a single meltdown, tangled leash, or unscheduled sprint toward the cake table. Anyone who has ever tried to wrangle a dachshund knows that is nothing short of a miracle, and Dillon made it look easy. What sets Dillon apart is that he doesn’t just train the dog—he trains you. He is patient, clear, and genuinely invested in figuring out what makes each individual dog tick rather than running every dog through the same generic program. Our dogs are calmer, happier, and honestly easier and more enjoyable to live with because of the work he has put into them. Since graduating, all three of our dogs are now part of Full Potential K9’s Concierge Membership. Being right here in East Boca makes it incredibly convenient—we regularly board with Dillon and his team when life gets busy, and we can reach out to him Monday through Saturday whenever we have a question or need help with one of the dogs. The continued relationship and support after training has been just as valuable to us as the training itself. We just picked up our fourth dachshund and newest family member, and she’ll be heading straight into Dillon’s hands as soon as she is cleared by our vet. At this point, we trust Dillon completely. If you have a dachshund who runs the household instead of the other way around, he is the person to call.
