I enthusiastically and and thankfully recommend trainer Dillon Mitchell and his staff. I'm a snowbird living in South Florida for 6 months with my husband and two dogs. My youngest dog Dylan, a Glen of Imaal Terrier, had become impossible to live with. At 18 months, he was barking at anything and everything. I couldn't walk or control him on a walk without his attacking any dog he saw. Even though he is a medium sized dog, when he reacted to another dog he was strong enough to take me down to the ground. I was despairing about what to do and then I got Dillon's name from another trainer. At our evaluation Dillon said he thought he could help me, but that it would be probably at least a 8 week stay. As it turned out, it was longer but Dillon had to deal with the dog's strong prey behavior inherent to the terrier breed. Miraculously, because of Dillon's amazing experience, his training techniques, and his humaneness, our dog is now home and I have learned how to manage him. We spent valuable training time with Dillon so that we could continue and appreciate the importance of the dog's routine, essential for maintaining our dog's good behavior. Dillon is always available for concerns that come up either at our home or by phone. His training has brought our otherwise intelligent and sweet dog back to a place where he is a happy, loving and obedient canine. The training has also brought us, his owners, to a place of confidence and peace of mind. We couldn't be happier with our experience.

Working with Dillon Mitchell andFull Potential K9 has quite literally changed our lives. We came to Dillon with Chloe (3), a brand new puppy Mr. B, and later committed to a 10-week raise-and-train with our newest addition, Devi — all dachshunds, which anyone familiar with the breed knows is no small challenge. What we got in return went far beyond “training.” Dillon has an extraordinary ability to understand dogs on a level that feels almost unreal —- he is, without exaggeration, a wizard and a true dog whisperer. Every dog came back more confident, more balanced, and more connected to us. But just as importantly, Dillon trained us — giving us the tools, clarity, and confidence to maintain and build on that progress. The transformation in our home is night and day. During this same time, we experienced the sudden and tragic loss of our first dachshund. It was devastating. Dillon’s support during that period meant more than we can adequately put into words. His guidance, empathy, and steady presence helped carry us through one of the hardest moments we’ve faced. Without him, we truly don’t know how we would have made it. And somehow — because this is just who he is — he did not stop there. He helped us accomplish something we did not think was even possible: getting all three dachshunds to calmly and beautifully walk down the aisle at our 120+ person wedding. Anyone who knows dachshunds (and, particularly, our dachshunds) understands how remarkable that is. We trust Dillon completely and implicitly. If you are even considering working with him, do not hesitate. He does not just train dogs — he transforms relationships, households, and lives.

When I first got my puppy he was 8 weeks old and I had no idea what I was doing. I met with Dillon prior at my house to make sure I was prepared for those first few days until we started working together. He was available and helped me every step of the way. After that we transitioned that first week right into private sessions. We did not waste anytime as those first few weeks are crucial. He broke things down, showed us how to do things and clearly explained things in sequence. I was hesitant to leave him even for a few hours at Full Potential K9, but I have to tell you it has made a world of a difference. He is beyond happy going there, loves working with the trainers and then that allows for me to be more efficient with my follow up at home. I could not have gotten this far without their help.

After 4 male yellow Labradors we decided to get an F1B labradoodle- 3/4 poodle 1/4 lab. After three utterly chaotic months of him bullying our senior lab, chewing on us and marking all over the house our son gifted us a week of board and train with Dillan. The journey was longer than expected, all of our attempts at training had to be online and the doodle clearly wasn’t bred for obedience. We also sent our lab for the last few weeks, because two trained dogs are better than one. A day after he arrived Dillan’s staff recognized symptoms of a serious illness that we had totally missed, and probably have been fatal if not recognized. Amazing. After two weeks training together, we have two wonderful dogs. The same personality and all the cuddles and fun but now they actually listen and obey. The senior lab is ALIVE, he isn’t getting bullied anymore, our arms are healed from the cuts and bruises and they actually PLAY and have fun together. When you’re empty nesters your dogs are your fur babies, so it’s devastating when there are constant issues. Now we have the best version of our boys and couldn’t be happier. Thank you will never be enough. A 5 star review is nowhere close to good enough. Dillan and his staff are family to us and we are treated like royalty there. It took a bit for me to figure it out, but EVERYONE is. I only wish we had sent the doodle there the day we got him. Even 12 weeks late it’s the decision we ever made
