Thank you for taking the time to post this review. Yes, you had been bringing Maker (who we adored) to us for years. Every time you booked a stay for him, you filled out a form that stated what our hours and days of operation were, and that stated the check-out policy and late-check out fees. Our policies have always been clear. You completed and signed this form again for his last stay several years ago. Our policies continue to change as is normal for any business and we have not boarded dogs for quite some time. I hope that Maker is doing well, he’s a great dog!

Training with you all was so much fun; I really enjoyed and appreciated all of the effort you poured into those dogs through my teachings. You have become such an amazing leader of your pack. Those dogs have the absolute best life because of you and all of our hard work! Beach runs, mountain hikes, family vacations.... lucky dogs!!!! Thanks again. Hope you are enjoying the mountain life. Hi Anais - <br><br>During your free consultation that I provided (that took an hour and a half of my time over the phone) - you mentioned that you rescued this dog, and immediately after that, you took him to a pet store and were carrying him in the store. Someone approached you to pet him and he nipped at them… <br><br>What I advised you when I heard this, was that this might have been too much too soon, and that I could help you with confidence building and other training options. You told me that you "didn’t adopt this dog to pour a lot of money into him." I said ok, so maybe I can give you some ideas, and then I asked you a lot of questions… and you said “it’s really only when I take him to the pet store.” So I asked you if you needed to take him to the pet store…. You said, “well, no” and I said, “awesome, problem solved!” You were thrilled at the simple and free fix! <br><br>I then gave you some more advice on how to advocate for your dog to make this a non-issue in the future, and said that maybe you might want to not take him to the pet store if he doesn’t feel comfortable there. <br><br>I did tell you that you didn’t have to take this dog anywhere, because it obviously wasn’t fun for him. Also, I gave you this information because you had told me that you were not willing to pay for training for him.<br><br>I agree that there is a lot of questionable advice out there for fearful dogs, however please know that the advice I gave you was advocating for your dog’s needs, within your budget at the time. I could have easily helped you with him, as I have hundreds of other dogs with this same issue. <br><br>I hope that you found the help you needed, and that your life with him has been rewarding.<br>
