I can't say enough about Lauren and her training. Five years ago, my shih tzu puppy, Scout, had complete run of the house and and my life! Then, someone recommended Lauren and I left him with her for boarding and training. When I picked him up, he was a completely different dog. So well behaved and fun. Lauren did such a great job training Scout that, just last week, he was being obnoxious with too much going on around him (longer story) so I sat him on the couch and said PLACE.. something I haven't done in years! I told him he was a good boy and he sat there for, easily, 10 minutes.. until the room cleared. All the credit for that goes to Lauren and her training. She is so good at what she does that it sticks, even years later. What a gift.

We were worried about who we could trust to help us temper our hyperactive and dominant frenchie. From the moment we spoke on the phone I felt a connection with her. We were still concerned because we felt our puppy had some sort of advanced behavior disorder. She was able to identify the issues and give us some great homework to create a new bond with better rules. It has been under a week and we see INCREDIBLE progress with behavior and self control. We came to FureverK9 due to concerns with our Yorker and Havanese. One dog suffered from panic attacks and the other struggled with being high strung. Before our first meeting we were given some suggestions on things to try. We listened and saw some immediate positive changes. During our first meeting Lauren was great and had our dogs responding from the first minute she walked in...it was GREAT! We had done some training before but since we began working with Lauren we see more sustainable changes without the need to constantly reinforce with tangible rewards/treats to get compliance. I HIGHLY recommend Lauren, as our pups have dramatically changed many of the unwanted behaviors with the work we have done. Lauren shows us how to respond and engage with our dogs in a positive way and she is teaching us how our energy impacts them in ways we do t even recognize. It has made our dogs so much more relaxed and the panic attacks have gone away since implementing Lauren’s strategies and working with her.

Furever K9 did a very good job training our dog during a 3 week board and train program. Prior to training, our dog would sometimes be aggressive to other dogs and people during walks. Now, when we take her on neighborhood walks, it is much easier to manage her. We have learned how to effectively use the “place” command in our home. The key is using at home the commands and techniques which our dog became accustomed to while being trained by Furever K9. We will also take advantage of the one-on-one follow-up training sessions which are part of the board and train package. We highly recommend Lauren at Furever K9 if you need someone to train your dog.
