Garden State K9

We brought our dog Django to Garden State K9 for their Top Dog program which is board and train. Django had some issues we couldn’t train out of him. Darryl was our trainer and was amazing. He sent us progress pictures and videos regularly and kept us informed the entire time. Django also looked very happy in all of the pictures and videos which was reassuring for us. Django is now the best dog we have ever had. He has total recall and we can hike with him off leash now with complete confidence. We have also been taking Django to group play/day care and he absolutely loves going there. When I drop him off he is so excited, wiggling his whole body so I feel good about leaving him there. We honestly couldn’t be happier with our entire experience and I highly recommend Garden State K9 if you need any help with your dog. They are truly amazing.

We can’t thank Garden State K9 and especially trainer Jim enough for the incredible transformation in our 2.5-year-old pitbull, Zoey. Before training, she had basic obedience but was a nightmare on the leash and unpredictable around strangers, which led to a few nervous chomps. With a baby on the way, we knew we needed professional help, and the 3-week Top Dog program was exactly what we needed. Jim treated Zoey like one of his own and sent us regular updates on her progress, which meant the world to us. Now, her leash walking is flawless, and we receive compliments everywhere we go. She’s calmer, more confident, and we can finally include her in all of our weekend outings. We’re beyond grateful to Jim and the entire team at Garden State K9 for helping turn our stubborn little girl into a well-behaved lady! GSK9 is everything you could ask for in a training facility. We brought our german shepherd Sonny for their Top Dog Training program and it was worth every penny! Our trainer Bryan is awesome. He listened to all of our comcerns and got Sonny to be off leash within 4 short weeks. He also sent updates on Sonny’s progress throughout his month long stay with him! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We are thrilled that we heard about Garden State K9! Our dog, Jersey, recently completed their two week Day Training program. We could not be happier with the results! Jersey’s trainer, Erin, did a fantastic job with her. Always friendly, Jersey needed to work on her manners, walks and being able to listen and maintain various commands. Jersey’s overall behavior and temperament improved throughout the training and she has received numerous compliments from friends and family noticing the changes. We also found the two private lessons with Erin to be invaluable to be able to continue the training and maintain the consistency at home. Erin was easy to work with, answered all of our questions and gave us great tips. Everyone at the facility took great care of Jersey. She liked it so much that she waited by the door to leave for training each morning. We are looking forward to using Garden State K9’s group play and daycare for Jersey when needed.
