Life Changing Training for a Challenging Dog After months of struggling with our rescued puppy Franklin, including serious food aggression that sent one of our dogs to the hospital—we found Garden State K9. From the first evaluation, they clearly understood Franklin’s challenges and laid out a plan that gave us real confidence. We enrolled him in a 4-week Top Dog program with Bryan (amazing pro-trainer), who kept us updated throughout and delivered incredible results. Franklin came home calmer, obedient, and manageable, with feeding strategies that completely changed our household. Franklin is a different dog, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend Garden State K9 and Bryan to anyone dealing with behavioral issues or looking for next level training.

We had an incredible experience with Bryan and the Top Dog program at Garden State K9. Our puppy struggled with resource guarding, obedience issues, and had difficulty getting in and out of the car without becoming aggressive, which we knew were complex and sensitive behavioral challenges that require a great deal of skill, patience, and care. When our puppy returned home, she was truly a different dog. Her resource guarding issues were significantly improved, and Bryan also worked extensively on her obedience, helping to build a more confident, well-behaved dog overall. We now enjoy getting in the car, going on outings and are able to thoroughly enjoy life with our family dog. Throughout the program, Bryan kept in touch with us and sent regular updates, which gave us so much peace of mind and showed how invested he was in her progress. What stood out most was how much Bryan genuinely cared about our dog. He built a strong, trusting relationship with her, and it was clear she felt safe and confident in his care. This program is absolutely an investment worth making. I cannot recommend Bryan and all of the trainers at Garden State K9 enough for anyone dealing with behavioral challenges or even just looking to strengthen general obedience. All of the trainers there are highly skilled, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional at what they do. They truly do an amazing job, and we are beyond grateful for the results.

I had my pup do the 3 week Top Dog program a little while back. Thank you so much to Amanda for completely changing our life. Prior to the training I could not take my dog near/around any other dogs with our severe reactions. It made it difficult to go on a simple walk around the block. Fast forward to today, and he is a completely different dog. Our pup used to never listen to any commands while outside on a leash, and now he can be called to a heel from 50 yards away without getting distracted. His reactions have gone to near zero to other dogs while out in public. After the training it is very easy to tell that he was more confident, less anxious, and overall a happier dog. He listens to his name and his commands now - making walks stress free and fun. Through Amanda’s work we can now take our dog in the car without stress panting, take him out to run errands, to outdoor dining, and on the trials to walk off leash. We just completed our three week training program with our puppy, Bocce, and I couldn't be happier with the experience at Garden State K9. Bryan was absolutely fantastic and has a genuine love for what he does and the dogs he trains. Bryan was always happy to answer any questions we had and made sure we never felt rushed which really showed his dedication. We are very happy with Bocce's results and progress of the training.
