This is our third Great Dane, but the first time we started training at just eight weeks old—hands down, the best decision we’ve made. Now at four months old, Mookie is thriving with amazing confidence, and it’s clear how valuable early socialization is for his development. My family and I feel so lucky to have found Genetic K9 to help train our little guy. Huge thanks to Amanda for always being there to answer our questions and provide expert guidance. Our pup has been a bit of a handful from day one and Amanda is not our first attempt at training him. Despite him being a reactive/unpredictable dog, she did not turn us away, she just adjusted our training plan so everybody involved would be as comfortable and safe as possible. After only 8 sessions with her, I feel like we have better communication with him and a better understanding of how he learns. Having Amanda coach us during our sessions made it easy to follow through and continue his training at home. She provided us with the tools we would need to succeed and explained everything thoroughly. I cannot believe the difference only 8 training sessions made! I will be recommending her to everyone looking for a trainer and will continue to use her services myself down the line.
