Genetic Canine

Working with Amanda and her team quite literally saved my relationship with my dog Kaito. I was in so over my head after rescuing my highly reactive German Shepard mix, and felt so helpless to bond with him. It was to the point that I didn’t feel safe walking him and feared I wouldn’t be able to keep him. Thank goodness we found Amanda, she was honest and worked hard right along side us with resilience and patience. There were times I cried from frustration and times I cried from joy, but through all the hard work I now have the most incredible soul dog that I can’t imagine my life without. Amanda has given me more than a relationship with my dog she has given me a way of communicating with my best friend that has brought us the deepest connection I’ve ever experienced with an animal. My dog Kaito and I have confidently gone on so many adventures including hiking Bear Mountain, walking the streets of NYC, swimming in the waves of the ocean and relaxing at restaurants for dinner together. There aren’t enough words to express the gift Amanda has given to me and the appreciation I have for her and her team.

My girlfriend and I got a puppy back i. December. And she is a really sweet dog, but could not understand using the bathroom outside. After months of trying nearly everything, we dropped her off for a board and train. Best decision we have ever made. Amanda, Kerry, and Yohanis worked their magic. When we picked our pup up we were given a training class with our pups. Not only has her potty training dramatically improved, but her overall understanding of commands is amazing. Heel, sit, stay, place, come. She has a full grasp of all of those and we couldn't be happier with how well trained our pup is now. I highly recommend genetic canine.
