Genetic Canine

A huge thank you to Yohanis at genetic K9. I felt like I lost all hope with my 2 year old german shepherd. I couldn’t walk him and he was aggressive towards other dogs. Now I feel in control and am finally going on walks with my dog!! Yohanis went above and beyond to help me and was always there to answer questions and check in. I now have a better relationship with my dog and am not afraid or embarrassed to take him in public. Working with Yohanis was the best thing I ever did. I wish I had done it sooner instead of struggling for almost 2 years with a dog I had no control over. Thank you so much Yohanis!

Amanda & her team of trainers were just what we needed for our Maple girl! After enrolling her in the eight week course we were able to shake not just one bad habit/behavior but multiple. On top of that and more importantly we were able to build a strong bond together. Our girl has come such a long way and made leaps and bounds in her overall behavior and we couldn’t have done it without the help of Genetic. Would highly recommend!!!!!

Wow! Genetic K9 is incredible. Our rescue Amstaff Puddin’ needed training due to major anxiety. We met with the amazing Amanda at the clean and professional facility. After speaking with Amanda, we decided to go with the 7 week training package. Best decision we’ve ever made. Johanis was our trainer. He is absolutely the best at what he does. He took the time to get to know Puddin’ and gave us the tools to give her structure, confidence, and commands that she took to immediately. We are continuing with group lessons, as Puddin’ looks forward to “going to school”. Johanis is truly a godsend for us. We are so beyond grateful to Amanda, Yohannis and all the trainers that worked and continue to work with our puppy. After a month at board and train he was a whole new dog! Macallan is obedient, less anxious and so much happier. We are thrilled with his progress and continue to do group classes at genetic canine weekly. Our dog gets so excited to go there and that’s because of all the time and care they put into helping your dog be the absolute best version of themselves.

Amanda called me and explained the training packages to me very clearly. She did our first session and then Yohannis worked with us for the remainder of our sessions. Our dog, Bear is fearful and reactive and I wasn’t able to walk him on leash due to excessive pulling. After only 4 sessions I could walk Bear on the new slip lead and he is learning so much( as am I). Yohannis was extremely knowledgeable and gave us ample opportunities to work with our dog as well as working him with other dogs to reduce his reactivity. We’re looking forward to joining the group sessions next and then going on outings with other group members.
