Brian helped train me as well and really explains everything and why he does things. I would recommend anyone to take their dog to him. Brought him home, and he was just relaxed and comfortable, where before he was always anxious, and acting wild. 10/10 for Genuis Dogs!!
Brian is AWESOME!! He was so patient and kind. He actually turned my over hyper,over anxious dog into a fun loving golden. He not only worked with her and her issues, he was also patient when training me in order to help Autumn. We're still a work in progress but with baby steps and Brian's help we will get there! I can not thank Brian enough.

Mac is our 4 1/2 year old Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees. We live at Buckeye Lake in a very active neighborhood with lots of people, dogs and golf carts. Mac loved to chase carts, dogs and if he got loose he liked to make a game of seeing how long he could stay free. Also, walking him meant taking a chance of dislocating your shoulder. Enter Brian McCoy! Mac went to live with Brian for two weeks and returned to us a different dog! Paul and I could not believe Brian’s positive energy and patience, and his extensive knowledge of the science of dog training! Mac was calm, focused and yes! Obedient! Now- Brian just needed to train Paul and I. And he has. He’s been patient and has given us confidence to follow through. And we know that he is a phone call away if we need him. Best decision we’ve made for Mac and us!
Brian is an absolutely awesome trainer. We did 12 weeks of training with our young doodle and he is easily the best behaved dog that we have had in 21 years. I recommend Genius Dogs to anyone I know that has a dog.
