Gentle Dog Training

We trusted Mike and Lisa with our newly adopted husky who was pretty wild and we couldn’t be happier with his progress. He came home a much more civilized pup. Our walks are enjoyable, he comes when called, corrects easily and is just an over all calmer dog. The communication during and after has been so helpful, I know they will guide me through my learning curve. In my initial call with Lisa she was very honest and open about how she trains and I hadn’t found that with other trainers. Trusting a trainer with my dog was not easy, and we are very pleased to have a very happy and manageable dog at home now :)

Thank you Lisa and Mike, you are such a blessing! You took our 3 month-old labrador puppy, who was full of energy and had a habit of biting and nipping(typical puppy behavior), and transferred her into a well-mannered puppy. Now, she walks beautifully on a lead- even our 3 year old grandson can walk her with ease! Plus, no more biting and nipping- such a huge relief. She is still the playful, energetic puppy we adore, but with much better manners. What really sets Gentle Dog Training apart is the follow-up visit they do to ensure everything is going well. It just shows how much they stand behind their work and love what they do. Mike and Lisa are two of the nicest people we’ve ever met, and they are very good at what they do! We’re so impressed with how well our puppy is behaving since doing the board and train program. Lisa was excellent with communication and we got frequent updates while our puppy was there. It was so fun to watch his progress, and he was a completely different dog when we picked him up!
