Our family had a heartbreaking experience with boarding. My sister boarded her dog here for a couple of days, and during his stay she was never contacted or informed that anything might be wrong with him. There was no communication indicating he was sick or showing any concerning symptoms. When he came home, he was extremely lethargic and refused to eat or drink. He didn’t want to lie down, had a cough, a fever, throwing up and nauseated. Just two days after coming home, he passed away. If staff noticed any changes in his condition, we believe my sister should have been notified immediately so he could have received prompt veterinary care. If they didn’t notice these obvious symptoms, that raises serious concerns as well. He didn't have any illness before his stay here. When he was picked up Sunday he already looked sick and even threw up in the back of the car as soon as the staff put him in. We can’t say exactly what happened while he was there, but this experience has left us heartbroken and with many unanswered questions. My sisters puppy was only 8 months old. He loved going here to the daycare to see his friends and that is why my sister trusted them to take care of her baby.
