I’ll start by saying Jennifer is nice however my experience with the puppy board and train was not the best. The 2week training is $1700 and we received the exact same dog back. The only difference is that my dog is now addicted to treats. The behaviors we asked to be addressed were not addressed. The behaviors that are promised in the description of the training were not fixed whatsoever. Our dog doesn’t listen to a single command. It takes about 5x saying sit before she actually sits. The only way to get her attention is by making it clear that I just stuck my hand into a bag of treats. There was very little communication throughout the 2 weeks. I had to text Jennifer several times and ask for updates. The 2 times she responded she only sent videos of my dog playing with a toy and running in her backyard. I saw no training exercises or progress videos. Upon picking my dog up I realized why I wasn’t getting any updates… Jennifer’s training style is as follows “The dog is allowed out of the crate for 10 minutes every hour to potty, train, and play”. Yup that’s it. 10 minutes. So how she was supposed to be trained and socialized that way, I don’t know. Our dog still bites and nips. She still chews on her leash when trying to walk her. She still chews socks and shoes. She has terrible resource guarding with food and toys. Aggression we cannot have in a family dog. I could go on and on. A complete waste of money. I have also emailed Jennifer expressing my concerns in the lack of change in our dog since she’s been back home and have not received a response. We have several dogs in the family who have been trained before and this is the worst board and train we’ve experienced so far. Trust me, look elsewhere.
