Several key points here to observe: Basic Training Course I'm no stranger to animals. Being the daughter and sister of two of the finest veterinarians the world has to offer (I may be a little bias..), I grew up being around dogs, cats, lizards, birds, cows, horses and other creatures. With that said, it wasn't until I walked into Georgia Dog Gym that I it truly "clicked" on how to communicate with my dog. We rescued our wonderpup, Tootie, after she showed up at my husband's work. She was cold, hungry and didn't trust anyone. I wanted to make sure we gave her a good life and a loving home and build our relationship the right way. With two elementary school girls in the house, I wanted to be able to communicate effectively with her so they too, could enjoy interacting with her. I looked up local trainers in my area, and found Georgia Dog Gym. We took the basic obedience class that is around 6 weeks long. Cyndy Douan breaks down the basics in the most digestible (and entertaining) way possible so you, the owner, can take that information and put it to good use at home. Following her directions, exercises and games to play with your dog, will strengthen the relationship between you and your animal. Consistency is key. That is the heart of her message and boy, it's the truth. She truly understands how to communicate with dogs. It's really amazing and inspiring. I highly recommend this course for anyone to get a jump start on a healthy relationship with your pup. Doggy Day Care My wonderpup tried out Doggy Day Care and had the most FUN time ever. She got to play, be a dog, do her zoomie runs and exhaust all of the energy she could possible spare. When I picked her up, she was the most satisfied, gooey, relaxed and HAPPY dog I have ever seen. We can't wait to go back each time. We will be doing this on the regular. Customer Service Just want to give a shout out to Cyndy and the rest of the staff. My interactions with all of the staff and Cyndy, has been so delightful. When I have needed assistance on what tools, leashes, and/or treats to buy, they have been so helpful with the knowledge they have in the products they recommend. I love stopping by and bringing my dog to this facility. I know my wonderpup is getting the best care, attention and exercise in my absence. If I ever need to board, you can bet your bacon I will be using Georgia Dog Gym. Thanks to all of you! Keep up the great work, team!
