GET K9 Training

My dog Sage was so sassy and stubborn I thought it would be close to impossible to break her of these bad habits such as barking constantly for me to play with her, high energy levels CONSTANTLY, jumping on anyone that came up to say hi to her, jumping and trying to play with other dogs, not knowing their behavior/temperment, and pulling bad on her leash while on walks. She came back with a night and day difference! She now knows to sit on her “place” to help her self regulate herself energy, walks by my side with no pulling, stays on place while I’m prepping her food or answering the door, and is way more submissive and obedient in general. Jenzi was an absolute God-send and I’m so thankful for her showing Sage so much love and patience. Having Sage this well behaved has been absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Jenzi’s dog training!

Our Wynstan came to us through a rehoming situation. He had been taught a few things as far as obedience goes but not much else. He was a good dog and very sweet. He was however, just under 2 years old and still a puppy. He pulled when walking, he would try to run after things in the park. He was never bad his biting instinct as a puppy was mostly gone. As good as he was we needed help. He was starting to bark at everything & everyone that would pass our front gate. Like other reviewers, I had a very hard time thinking of him being gone for 3 weeks. He had been with us every day since he became hours, so I was worried he might think we were leaving him too. Jenzi explained why her board and train is for the dog to let go of bad habits and learn good ones. She assured us he will learn how to be happier. I understood then that when a dog has structure they are happier. She also kept in touch during the three weeks, with pictures and updates about what Wynstan was learning. At the end of the three weeks when it was time for us to pick up Wynstan, we were shown the things he had learned. Then it was time for us to continue his journey. Jenzi explained it all and taught us what we should do and most importantly why we should do it. We have been quite pleased with how Wynstan is far more relaxed and calm. Our 2 year old rescue dog, Ziggy, was the perfect fit for our family. He loved to walk, loved to play, and loved attention from our 8 year old. However, he was very reactive to guests and during walks. He pulled so hard on the leash that I would have to hold on with two hands. A friend recommended Jenzi and everything has changed. She helped us understand that Ziggy was functioning in a ‘frenzied’ mode and was never truly able to calm down. After his 3 weeks with her, he is able to turn off and ignore nearly all of the things that used to set him off. Jenzi taught us that calm equals content…and that’s Ziggy’s new mode. I can’t say enough about Jenzi’s board and train program. We learned so much from her including all of the most recent research. We now feel better able to help Ziggy on our own…and of course she’s always here for support.

So, I was initally nervous being away from my puppy for 3 weeks. After speaking with Jenzi about my concerns, my puppy's personality, I felt at ease. Once I dropped Beans at Jenzi's home, I knew this magnificant creature would be loved! Get K9 Training isn't a run of the mill 3 week training camp! It's a home! Jenzi took the time & patience with Beans to make her part of the family. Jenzi also took her time with me, making sure I understood not only Beans goals, but my own! Beans came home happy, confident and most importantly to me, not "broken". She's still Beans, but a better Beans! I can't thank, Jenzi & her family enough! Personally, I got more training than Beans! I couldn't be happier with the results!
