Gian K9 Academy

As a person who treats their animals like family, I was extremely selective in my choice of a trainer to train my rescue dog, Teddie. Teddie had a lot of fear, as he had a very rough start to life. After our initial evaluation, I chose Gian’s board and train program. The results were amazing! Teddie went from being very fearful, to a more confident, obedient, and secure dog. Gian’s communication through the entire process was great, giving updates, answering questions, and sharing videos of Teddie’s progress daily. I plan to continue to work with Gian as we continue to build Teddie’s confidence and trust in people. Thank you so much Gian for a great experience!

Walking with my dogs has become a joy! Before starting with Gian, walks with my dogs, Raine and Iris, were a complete nightmare. They would lunge, bark, and pull on the leash at the sight of any other dog or person. I was constantly stressed, and my walks had become an anxious, dreaded activity. My dogs, being three years old with no prior training or interaction with other dogs, made the situation even more challenging. However, after some boarding and training with Gian, everything changed dramatically. When I picked up my dogs, I noticed an immediate change. The positive reinforcement techniques Gian showed me were simple, easy to understand, and incredibly effective. I practiced these skills the very next day while walking them through the neighborhood, and the transformation has been astounding. Every day we encounter barking dogs, children riding bikes, and ATVs zooming past on the street, yet Raine and Iris remain focused on me instead of reacting. I am now much more confident as an owner, and my dogs are visibly less stressed. I can't thank Gian and Val enough for giving me and my babies a new leash on life! I eagerly look forward to our future training sessions.
