Specializing in rescue and fearful dogs, Giffy dog’s certified trainers provide compassionate coaching and support for people who live with challenging dogs and those who want to develop deeper relationships with their canine companions. We offer a unique variety of classes, private consultations, and seminars, including clicker foundations, confidence-building, and an “out and about” class--to help people walk easily in public spaces with their dogs. All offerings are designed to help people build satisfying relationships with their dogs based on trust, respect--and play. At Giffy dog, we strive to make training a joy for people and their dogs.

Cheryl is a miracle worker. We have a dog who was incredibly fearful due to trauma being part of the meat trade overseas. She helped this shy little guy come out of his shell by giving us the tools and training to help him feel more at ease with us. She's patient, kind, and cares about the wellfare of these animals. It's not about getting the dogs to do what we humans want but training the dog to trust. She's amazing and her dog Sarah is great for dogs who need another dog to show them the ropes.
