We sent our rescue pitbull to their 10-day boarding and training program to help her with her nervousness and reactivity (mostly with bigger dogs). We had trained our dog to have a basic baseline understanding of commands, which she did decently well, but we were struggling to resolve the aforementioned issues.
In only a matter of 10 days, our dog came back completely different - much more calm and much more able to self-regulate emotions in what she usually saw as a stressful situation. Further, our dog was much more focused on us during our walks and less focused on her surrounding environment - something she had a hard time doing before. Manuel and his team did a wonderful job. They have the expertise to break bad habits and build on top of any foundation already established with your dog. Highly recommend.

My dog did the one month board and train due to her nervous and anxious nature while in public. It was hard for me to even get simple obedience from her. But the trainers are GifMaf have absolutely astounded me with how well trained my dog is now. They left her with amazing structure that I can now build off of.

We brought Winnie to GifMaf along with another family dog, at first sending her off to training wasn’t even in our minds. She was doing good with potty already and we didn’t think anything else was important. Once we started seeing her reactiveness with other dogs and we reached out to GIFMAF Erika and Gian Manuel guided us through the process and explained the value in implementing structure into Winnie’s life. We chose the two weeks board and train and they would update us daily and send us videos. After what felt like the longest two weeks, pick up day came, where Gian Manuel spent 2 hours of his undivided attention to teach and guide us in the process of taking Winnie home while maintaining structure and setting her up for success.
Today Winnie follows all of her commands and maintains structure, keeping her safe. We appreciate GIF MAF for everything they did for us and Winnie

Highly recommend the trainers! We have already seen such a positive change in Winnie since starting training. They were patient, knowledgeable, and truly took the time to understand her personality and needs. It’s amazing to see her progress and the confidence she’s gained. I don’t even know where to start but GIFMAF literally changed my family’s life. I adopted my giant baby on a whim and genuinely thought that there would come a point where it was going to be either the dog or me. He was so so poorly structured. I adopted him at the age of 1 after he was dumped at the shelter and passed from shelter to rescue. He came into my life: reactive, scared, and unconfident. He broke my nose, scratched my face and body, and broke countless items around my home. People in my life everywhere would tell me to just let him go and send him back to the shelter. I knew if I managed to save enough I’d be able to give him a shot that no one else would. I found GIFMAF and sent Topo away for a 30 day board and train and I can safely say the dog I got was a totally new dog. He is so confident and calm. He understands the structure he was given and lives off of high alert for the first time in who knows how long. GIFMAF not only helped my family, they helped give this angel a second chance at a life worth living. Although we must keep reinforcing the structure and training he came with from the program, it’s a small price to pay for a life of calm and peace. Thank you one million times over for the AMAZING GIFMAF team 🤍
