I highly recommend GIK9 if you are looking for a trustworthy dog training and boarding company. GIK9 has been wonderful from the day we consulted with them and through our experience training and boarding our German Shepherd, Rocky. Our dog was a challenge before but now thanks to the amazing work that GIK9 has done, our dog is more comfortable around others and enjoys his walks all because of their training and professionalism. Everyone is friendly and they have the best communication. We always receive updates like videos when they took Rocky walking at Home Depot and photos. We couldn’t believe the progress he made. I sent my recently adopted Dutch Shepherd to GI-K9 for a two week board and train. These guys are top notch. My dog graduated from the program as a more attentive and balanced dog, with new skills and training to help us both navigate the home environment and public places more gracefully. He received exceptional care from Sean’s team (Emma, Ashton, and Chaz) during his stay. In addition to the basic obedience training, the GI-K9 team was able to help provide crate training and off-leash training to my dog during his two week stay - greatly enhancing the value of the two week board and train program. Throughout the program, they provided daily updates and pictures, which was nice for tracking his progress. The free one on one sessions following the board and train have been extremely valuable for proofing all of his training. This is a great offering as they offer these one on ones for the life of the dog. Overall I think GI-K9 provides a great service at a great value. I highly recommend them.

Thee has been no improvement. I gave it 3 months before complaining, My dog does not follow the usual things you guys did by taking her out within a time frame after eating and then she was basically crated the rest of the time. We tried that for a long time although we do not crate her the rest of the time. We like to enjoy her. She pees and poops in her favorite spots whenever she wants. She does go out in the am and usually pees and poops outside, we take her out during day several times, and 90% she doesn't go but will within 20 minutes of getting back in. I never like to write negative reviews but we paid a lot of money and got no benefits as it turns out. And she is now 9 mos old. it feels like she will NEVER be trained.

We had such an amazing experience with GIK9! Our dog Milo went through their training program because he struggled with being uncomfortable in public settings and around people he didn’t know. From the very first day, Sean and the entire team made us feel confident that Milo was in the best hands. We received daily pictures and videos showing his progress, which meant the world to us. When we dropped him off, Milo was reactive and even required bite suits for safety — but by the end of the program, he was calmly walking through Home Depot and busy plazas where people were eating nearby. The transformation has been incredible — truly night and day. Not only did GIK9 help Milo gain confidence and solid obedience skills, but they also showed him genuine love and care. He gets so excited every time he sees the team for his follow-up sessions and pack walks. We recommend GIK9 to anyone looking for real results and trainers who truly care about both the dog and the family.
