Tomorrow, Bambi starts her journey with GIK9, and I can hardly put into words how deeply grateful and hopeful I feel. Even before her official training has begun, GIK9 has already shown me a level of dedication, compassion, and expertise that is truly rare. From the first conversation, it was clear they don’t just “train” dogs — they change lives. They saw Bambi for who she really is beyond her struggles: a dog with so much potential, deserving of a second chance and a brighter future. I can't thank Sean and his team enough for the work they did with my dog, Finn. When we first started, Finn was very protective of me and constantly on edge—always scared and unsure of his surroundings. It was stressful for both of us, and I knew I needed help. From the very beginning, Sean showed incredible patience and understanding. He took the time to get to know Finn, and I saw changes happening as their bond developed. Sean helped build Finn’s confidence in a way that felt natural and respectful of his personality. Sean gave me clear guidance and practical tools to use at home. I’ve followed everything he recommended—especially staying consistent—and the results speak for themselves.

Panda, our 5 1/2 y/o rescue Shih Tzu - Havanese mix was in need of behavior modification. We boarded him for four weeks with Sean and his team ( all friendly, excellent people). We were very pleased with the results. Keep in mind that the training does not end when your dog returns home. You will have to work with him/her to continue doing what the dog has learned and reinforce it daily. We have seen a marked improvement in his behavior. In addition, Sean offers lifetime one-on-one training sessions for you and your dog at his facility and we have gone back once so far, and plan to return for additional reinforcement and to learn some additional modifications that Panda still needs. We highly recommend GIK9 for any dog training that you might need.

Found Sean and his team via google. I have a 3 year old Malinois who began showing aggression toward men (even bit two people) I left my dog for 6 weeks, brought back home a new and improved version. Sean was great very professional! Explains everything. Want to emphasize that training is an everyday thing, something to keep in mind, This training doesn’t magically fix behavior forever. In my malinois case it definitely solved her aggression and Sean definitely helps with guidance on what to do and how to do it. It’s near racking to leave your dog with a person you just met for that long but she was In great hands! Would definitely recommend Sean to anyone needing help but particularly if you have a German Shepherd or malinois. He was great. Thank you!
