Absolutely amazing training experience—very interactive, engaging, and extremely informative from start to finish. They addressed all of our concerns and went above and beyond. We were able to work with our dog off-leash, correct several negative behaviors, and most impressively, they got Grace to completely stop biting something we’ve struggled with for a long time. The techniques used were easy to understand, and we saw results right away. I can’t recommend this training program enough for anyone looking for real, lasting results. This review is long overdue, but Jay is an amazing trainer and working with him has improved our family's quality of life. My husband and I have experience with working breeds but got in a bit over our heads when we rescued first a Belgian Malinois and a year later, a Doberman pinscher, both between 1.5 - 2 years when we reached out to Jay. Both our boys are very sweet dogs but they were definitely running the show and we needed help getting the upper hand back; additionally, our Dobie had a health event and became unpredictable behaviorally when sick. Our neighbor, walking by one day with her perfectly behaved Doberman, saw our dogs taking my husband for a pull down the street and said, you need to call Gladio K9! We did and not only has Jay, or Coach Jay, as we call him, made the training process incredibly easy and enjoyable for our dogs, he has also worked with us as owners so his lessons extend beyond training sessions and have vastly improved everyday life. Jay had our dogs in great shape within 10 weeks, but we do additional sessions because frankly, our dogs love going to train with Jay and are generally better behaved when they're attending regular sessions (even with our original goals long met). Most recently, Jay saved the day with our dogs in an emergency situation and we couldn't be more grateful. Not only do our dogs love him to pieces, he has time and again showed his skill as a trainer and his high quality of character. Our family would give 10 stars if we could.

Jay is an outstanding trainer. My German Shepard is 6 years old and had been good up until about a year ago when he started having medical issues with his intestines and colon. He was having drastic behavioral changes, eating socks, clothes, and any other thing you can imagine. His anxiety was increasing as well. After getting his medical issues under control, the terrible eating behaviors persisted, so we went to Jay for help. In 10 sessions, my dog had transformed, becoming more obedient than before. We can leave him out of his crate at home alone without worries again, and he has far less anxious behaviors, including the need for less medication to keep him calm. There is no doubt there’s work that you need to do yourself to make the necessary changes, and we still have a little bit more enforcing to go, but Jay provides top-notch skills that are easily transferable to you as the owner. He is knowledgeable and sets realistic expectations for you and your pet. His honesty is refreshing as he tells you what you need to hear rather than beating around the bush and telling you what you want to hear. Jay is friendly, engaging, and accommodating. I couldn’t recommend him enough for any dog you may have at any age.
