Gold Hill Canine

We just got our 9 month old Doberman back from a three weeks training with Ashley and Liz at Goldhill Canine. It is difficult to leave your pet with someone for 3 weeks, but they made us feel comfortable. My first phone call with Ashley was over 45 minutes, and we talked about an hour at drop off. Then, we had the two 90 minute follow ups before they brought him home. His behavior has significantly improved, and we are excited to continue working on his manners and obedience!

I spent some time out in California with Ashley and had an extremely positive experience. I was just starting out as a dog trainer and he was super welcoming about all my questions. While shadowing Ashley it was obvious that his clients were his number one priority. He offered major support after his training program and really explained things in detailed yet simple fashion. He has a no nonsense straight forward approach. We also did some protection work and Ashley took a lot of time to show me safe handling and technics which I still use to this day. I’d love to spend more time with Gold Hill Canine in the future.

Ashley and Liz were incredibly helpful in the process of adopting our rescue pit bull, Patches. We went to them because we were completely clueless on how to train and care for a dog. Ash and Liz spent a lot of time with us and thoroughly answered all our questions. Ashley and Liz did an amazing job demonstrating their training techniques, and helped us feel confident about Patches’ training and care. Thanks to them, when we were introduced to Patches she was perfectly trained, well-mannered, and she transitioned to our home extraordinarily well. We owe Patches’ smooth transition to Gold Hill’s training and care before we adopted her. Ashley and Liz were professional and personable, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to have a great experience training, adopting and living with a dog. -Hannah and Guy
