FirstBarkWe knew immediately this was the place our Belgian malinois/pit bull puppy needed to go. Our goal was to have our dog, Poppy, be more well-mannered in the house and on walks. So when Carissa said poppy would be staying in her home, and that there is a limited number of dogs she takes at once, it made sense. Very professional & efficient & our dog adores her now.

Can you give me an idea about the cost of training? Also, when do the classes take place?
All classes are private classes which allows you to get customized classes tailered just to you and your dog. I believe they are $55 for a hour but you will have to call her to confirm price. She has a small place off of giant city Rd. I highly recommend her, we used her for 2 of our dogs with outstanding results.

Cheyenne is a 2yo rescue, yellow lab. Sweet dog, zero manners. After 2 weeks with Carissa, she came home much calmer. She now has a lot of skills & after some joint learning, I know we'll have a wonderful life together. The follow-up provided by Carissa is phenomenal. Hoghky recommend@
We took our 6 month old Golden Retriever to Golden Standard. She was great with our puppy. He became much more calm and obedient . We would give them 5 star recognition. They are very friendly and easy to work with

We took our 1 year old boxer for 8 weeks of training. We didn’t know what to expect but are so happy we chose Golden Standard Canine Training! Best training in Southern IL! Such a wonderful experience. We have seen so much growth in our pup and wouldn’t have been possible without Carissa’s help!
