Good Boy K9 Training & Boarding

I chose Good Boy K9 Training based on their 5-star Google rating and quick response time. Stephanie was able to take my 1½-year-old pup within two days, which initially made me feel confident. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what was promised. I was told I would receive pictures, videos, and basic updates. I received none and had to repeatedly reach out just to confirm my dog was okay. On day two, I was told the first two days involved “no training.” The following day, the only update was that he was “a sweet boy” who enjoyed playing with other dogs. Four days into a 6–10 day program that cost $800, my concerns grew due to the lack of communication. After calling with no answer, I received a text stating that Ramsey had gone to the hospital the night before and that there had been a “snag.” I feel this is something I should have been informed of immediately, especially since training had not occurred and the discharge timeline was unknown. I requested a refund and offered to pick my dog up immediately. I was told refunds are not given, but I could take him home and bring him back once Ramsey was out of the hospital. Essentially, my $800 covered no meaningful training—only a chain choke collar. When I picked my dog up, he smelled strongly of dog, which raised concerns about how he was kept during his stay. While I understand emergencies happen, the lack of transparency, communication, and delivered service left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. I am leaving one star only because my dog was returned safely. I do not recommend this business.

I'm so grateful to have found the team at Good Boy K9. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care set them apart from any standard dog training service. When my dog ran into trouble with animal control, they answered the call when I was racing against the clock for a solution. They quickly rearranged their schedule to board and train my dog and effectively solved the problem. They reassured me that he was in good hands and showed real empathy for my situation. They even provided multiple options for moving forward and sent me pictures to make me feel at ease. I highly recommend their services to any dog owner.

My husband and I sent our 4 month old cane corso puppy Bella for potty training. We were struggling for 2 months to get her to use the bathroom outside and not be terrified. Ramsey got Bella trained in a week and also taught us how to walk her on the leash, so she doesn’t pull us and kennel trained..We are so grateful for them. And Bella is doing wonderful! We don’t have to worry about her using the bathroom in the house and she loves being outside. I couldn’t be more thankful. I would definitely be sending Bella back for more training and recommend anyone to Good boy K9 training! They are definitely worth it!
