Becky is an amazing trainer. After using the techniques we learned in one session for a little over a month we have seen amazing results with our reactive rescue Jax! If you listen to her and stick with it you will see results. She does a great job listening and understanding exactly what you and your dog need. We plan on going back soon to continue to advance his training.
Becky taught me how to best deal with a difficult situation that I have with a challenging senior rescue dog. My dog loves Becky and now misses the training sessions since our training ended. Negative reinforcement techniques are not used in the training, which is very important to me. The training provided me with some tools to keep everyone safe and helped my pup stay active too. Thanks Becky!!!
I took two different classes with dog Utah and worked with three different instructors during that time. With so much nonsense out there I was relieved to be met with such practical and ethical dog training. He’s not an easy dog but they really helped me with a number of his problem behaviors.

I’m writing this review because I am grateful for the training at Good Choice. Mason is 3yrs old. He began his basic obedience Puppy One, then Puppy Two. We did okay with learning the basics, but yet he was still a crazy puppy. I tried every advice offered to me on getting (us) to walk properly. It was a struggle. I then took a class, Mind your Manners. The instructor, Kate Walsh, saw my frustration. She asked if I’d be interested in meeting at my house so she could observe Mason in his environment. (Of course he was not good). She then had us walk my street. We BOTH learned a lot in one hour. From there on, we took a few more private lessons. I was so proud of the bond I was creating with Mason. Since October of 2024, we’ve taken several classes at Good Choice. (Becky, Alissa, Kate, Erin and other instructors that assisted). Mason now has his CGC, CGCA, CGCU, Novice Trick, and Bronze Fit. He is also a Certified Therapy Dog (and he takes that job seriously 😊). Obviously I’m very happy with Good Choice. We will continue more fun classes in the near future. Thank you and don’t hesitate giving them a try. I never thought I’d learn to be the handler I’ve become.
