There is no better place in the Capital District to train your dog and have fun while doing it! ALL of the trainers at Good Choice are highly qualifed and teach you to train your dog with POSITIVE methods. The bond that this training creates for you and your dog is so special and lasting. I have a very high energy dog and all of the classes I have taken at Good Choice are helping me to shape her into the best dog ever.

My partner and I adopted our first dog and decided on Good Choice Dog Training for obedience training. What a good decision it was! Alissa and Barb were absolutely wonderful. They are really focused on encouraging your dog to make progress at their own pace, without fear. For people who are new to puppy parenting and need instructors who are patient and kind, I would 10/10 recommend. We also looked at PetSmart but what’s better than supporting local, small businesses?!

Becky knows dogs! I adopted a dog (Jack Russell) who's a little more than I could handle. After only 2 lessons, we are making great headway. Becky has shared so much knowledge that I didn't know or think of that is really beneficial for me and Thumper.

Becky is amazing. She is kind, thoughtful and wonderful to work with. I have had two sessions so far and I am very pleased with the progress. My dog is very nervous and shut down for the first session, we still learned a lot on how to help him. For the second we were able to schedule an at home visit and it helped us to learn more strategies and how to support him.
