Good DaweG

My initial encounter with Wesley of Good DaweG was private training for my puppy Jewel. I then left my puppy for a 21 day board and train while I traveled a few weeks ago. Anthony is the person who primarily boarded and trained her. I received regular update videos and saw how Jewel transformed into a more controlled and obedient puppy. When I got home, my puppy was not as responsive to my commands as she was with Anthony. I messaged Anthony and expressed my concerns. He came to my home and spent 2+ hours with me and my puppy Jewel going through commands and correcting behavior. I have since continued to reinforce her training. I took Jewel out to a crowed area yesterday and others commented that she was a well behaved dog. It is a work in progress, but she is improving every day. I will continue to train with Good Daweg. Wesley did a phenomenal job! He was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us amazing tools to help make our boys the best they can be. The one hour he spent here has already made a huge impact, our dogs were noticeably more well-behaved by the time he left. He worked on leash training and teaching them not to bolt out the door.Amazingly, we can see progress right away. I could not recommend him more and can’t wait for future sessions to keep building on the lessons!

We are very pleased with the results of the Good DaweG three-week board and train program. Wesley communicates promptly and clearly. His program is based out of his home, which has a very large yard. Our girl, Gracey, is a Pittie mix rescue. Apparently, she has somewhat of an intimidating appearance to some people. A few other train & board facilities we looked at were clearly apprehensive and guarded during our initial meet and greet. It was a completely different experience meeting Wesley for the first time. He was comfortable, and treated Gracey as he would a Poodle, or Labrador. Gracey picked up on it, and was showing him affection after a few minutes. Part of the training process was Wesley taking Gracey out to public parks and Home Depot. That was invaluable for us to see our dog behaving calmly and obeying commands while immersed in distracting real life situations. Now we have confidence in our dog, and feel comfortable taking her out to busy places. It was totally worth the money. We feel like we have a solid foundation to build upon. We can’t recommend Good DaweG enough!

Wesley is absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond our expectations during the online training sessions and the board and train process. He helped our dog not just have more confidence but to open up and not be scared of everything around him. The way Wesley dedicated his time and knowledge allowed Ace to build trust and confidence right off the bat. Wesley traveled to California to bring Ace back to us to help get him acclimated to his environment and teach us the skills, commands, and confidence to ensure we could continue building Ace up and set him up for success. Wesley taught us in ways that we understood, and had us demonstrate so he could make sure we could carry on the training. He was very easy to work with from start to finish, we are so glad we decided to work together! Could not recommend him more!!
