Jeff was a pleasure to work with and did a great job! He was very patient, understanding, flexible and open to feedback as we navigated the training process with our dog. He was consultative and asked great questions which allowed him to tailor the training to what our dog needed rather than just going through a basic check list of training items. After our first training experience with a different training service didn't go well, we were very hesitant to try again. However, Jeff helped alleviate all those concerns and made our experience awesome! I would highly recommend Jeff and Good Dog Boston to any friend/family member who is looking for training!!!

Jeff was an absolute pleasure to work with -- his insight, knowledge, and genuine passion for helping dogs and their humans shone through in every interaction. Jeff helped us to better understand where the behavioral issues in our rescue pup, Arlo, stemmed from, and taught us how to better communicate with him. Throughout our time with Jeff we were able to better manage Arlo's anxiety and reactivity, allowing us to give him a happier and healthier life.

The work Jeff guided us in doing with Doug (because let’s face it, the training is really for US) has significantly increased our quality of life. We went from shortening walks to reduce the amount of things Doug was reacting to to spending hours in the park with Doug napping between us, completely chill. Jeff’s mix of showing, coaching and assigning homework really worked for us, and Doug - Jeff really listened to our training goals, and talked us through how to use a positive reinforcement approach to reach them. We talk every day about how much of a change this has made in our lives and are so grateful for Jeff!

Working with Jeff at Good Dog Boston was amazing! Jeff is the best trainer and helped us so much with our pup Augie, who had been a stray and was initially anxious, fearful and reactive. Jeff is patient, kind, knowledgeable and so thorough! He helped us get Augie to such a better place— He’s more confident and comfortable and he’s come such a long way in the six months since we rescued him. We can’t thank or recommend Jeff enough!
